What is Rutherford LEAP?
Rutherford LEAP's mission is to provide public school students in Rutherford County with the ability to become technologically advanced learners through the consistent, innovative use of a one-to-one laptop program, enabling them to "leap" forward into the 21st century.
Essential skills gained by students in the program are: Internet research, spreadsheets, word processing and presentation skills. Mastery of these skills will enable the students to be competitive in today's work force, and will prepare them for higher education.
Help us ‘leap’
Donate nowOur goal for school year, 2010-2011, is to provide 320 laptops for the seventh graders. Each business and/or family donation of one laptop can bring us closer to this goal.
